COMMENT Ezekiel Baker is the most famous of Henry Nock’s apprentices , became famous for his work on Rifles and for his trade with the East India company . This gun was built as a flintlock wildfowler , stylistically similar to Col Hawker’s J Manton ” Big Joe “, circa 1810 , was converted to pin fire using the original barrel , lock and stock , by an un named Birmingham gun maker circa 1860. Barrel is clean and very shootable being in proof . Tight , on the face and in very good order . A rare chance to own a real piece of useable history or you can own it as an antique under Section 58 of the Firearms act
